Row, fisherman, row

Well, if I wasn’t so damn busy with real world things (like work) I could actually get some blogging done. Nonetheless, here’s some stuff I’ve noticed lately:

1. Blood & Fire has just release a first batch of 45:s on The Congo’s Fisherman rhythm. The samples I’ve heard online so far sound great. The Rhythm & Sound boys must have worked hard on the mastering.

2. And speaking of the berliners: An EP with remixes of “See Mi Yah” is soon to be released, including remakes by Vladislav Delay, Richardo Villalobos and Tikiman. Should be interesting. Thanks to Petter for the tip.

3. Rodigan played a response from Beenie Man to Baby Cham’s “Ghetto Story” during last sunday’s show. It was cut on another pretty cool old school sounding rhythm. I think he said it’s coming out on Jammy’s.

4. Badman forward, badman pull-up.
